Looking to launch a supplement brand quickly and cost-effectively? Private label nutraceuticals might be the solution. More health and wellness companies are choosing this route to bring high-quality products to market without the time and expense of developing custom formulations from scratch.
At its core, private label manufacturing allows you to brand pre-formulated supplements as your own. You benefit from the speed, compliance, and lower upfront costs, while still offering consumers trustworthy, science-backed products.
Private label nutraceuticals are ready-made formulations that can be branded with your company’s logo, packaging, and marketing. Unlike custom formulation, which involves extensive R&D and regulatory review, private label options are production-ready and already tested for compliance and efficacy.
This model offers a much faster route to market—ideal for established brands expanding their lines without investing in new formulas.
According to a report by Grand View Research, the global nutraceuticals market is projected to reach approximately $919.1 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 7.6% from 2025 to 2030. Entering that market quickly—and with a trustworthy partner—can be a major competitive advantage.

The terms get used loosely, so ask any manufacturer what you can actually change. Generally, white label means a stock product sold under many brands where only the label differs. Private label usually allows more control over packaging, and sometimes over the formula or flavor. At Eagle Labs, gummies are white label. They come in four fixed formulas (apple cider vinegar, gut health, creatine, and male enhancement), made in the U.S. and branded for you.
Move to custom when a stock formula stops being enough to compete. That usually means you need a specific ingredient, dose, or claim that no stock product delivers, or a competitor is selling the same base under a different label. Many brands launch on private label nutraceuticals to prove demand, then fund custom development for their best sellers. Eagle Labs supports custom formulation for tablets, capsules, and stick packs.
Minimums depend on the format more than the formula. At Eagle Labs, tablets and capsules start at 300,000 units (5,000 bottles of a 60-count), stick packs at 100,000 sticks, powders at 5,000 bottles or gusset pouches, liquids at 5,000 units, and gummies at 1,000,000 units. The gap between formats comes from how each production line runs, so compare quotes in finished units per format rather than looking for a single "low MOQ" number.
The brand is. The manufacturer produces the product, but the company whose name is on the label owns every claim on it. Structure/function claims such as "supports joint health" must carry the standard FDA disclaimer, and FDA must be notified within 30 days of first marketing the product. Disease claims are off limits for supplements entirely. A manufacturer can check that a Supplement Facts panel is formatted correctly. Substantiating the claims is still your job.
At minimum, ask for a certificate of analysis for each lot, proof of third-party GMP certification, ingredient specifications, and allergen statements. Retailers and Amazon increasingly ask for this paperwork before they will list a product, so a manufacturer that can't produce it quickly will slow your launch. Eagle Labs manufactures in the U.S. under NSF/ANSI 455-2 certification and also holds USDA Organic and Halal certifications for brands selling into those markets.
